Who's who

  • Brutus

    Brutus is a politician who is devoted to the Roman republic. He is married to Portia.

  • Cassius

    Cassius is a politician and an old friend of Brutus. He wants to overthrow Caesar.

  • Julius Caesar

    Caesar is the most powerful man in Rome and its ruler. He is a general and is married to Calphurnia.

  • Antony

    Antony is a politician and a general. He is a loyal friend of Caesar.

  • Portia

    Portia is married to Brutus. Her father, Cato, was a nobleman who was known for his integrity.

  • Calphurnia

    Calphurnia is married to Caesar. She believes strongly in superstition and omens.

  • The Conspirators

    The conspirators are a group of senators who work with Cassius and Brutus to kill Caesar. They are called Casca, Decius, Cinna, Metellus Cimber, Ligarius and Trebonius.

  • Octavius Caesar

    Octavius Caesar is Caesar’s great-nephew and his chosen heir. He will rule Rome when Caesar dies.

  • Cinna the Poet

    Cinna is a Poet. He is mistaken for a conspirator with the same name.

  • Soothsayer

    The Soothsayer is a fortune teller. He delivers warnings to others.
