Creative Team Talk: Hamlet Hail to the Thief

11 June 2025

Royal Shakespeare Theatre

We offer talks with members of each production's creative team. These pre-show, onstage events offer a chance to hear the director and/or writer in conversation, revealing some of the influences and decisions that have created the production. From rehearsal room processes and design choices, to characterisation and relationships this is a fascinating insight into the creative process.

Unwrapped: Hamlet Hail to the Thief

Unwrapped: Hamlet Hail to the Thief

21 June 2025

Royal Shakespeare Theatre

Our Unwrapped demonstrations offer a peek into the rehearsal room, with the Assistant Director and members of the cast, often our understudies, looking at one or two particular moments from the play. They give an insight into how a scene is taken off the page and onto the stage, with the actors and Assistant Director showing the type of exercises and discussion that took place during rehearsals.
