Drop in and see us - we're open every day

Our Stratford-upon-Avon home is open most days of the year to simply drop in. 

The building is free to enter and there's plenty to see and do, from going up the Tower for a view of the town to grabbing a latte in our Riverside Cafe. We also have plenty of public toilets.

Swan Gardens Access and Walkway

14 - 25 September

Between 14-25 September, access to the Swan Gardens will be restricted to enable work to be carried out to reinstate the grass. The permissive pathway and a section of the Swan Gardens will be closed to ensure the safety of the public and those working on the site.

The main routes into the Swan Garden from the Swan Theatre and Royal Shakespeare Theatre will be closed including the route from the decking walkway by the main theatre and the entrance from Waterside opposite the Arden Hotel.

While the rear of the Swan Gardens will be accessible from the entrance opposite the Dirty Duck pub on Waterside, there will not be access along the path to the main theatre building.

We apologise for any inconvenience whilst this essential work takes place.

Opening times

Our Riverside Cafe and RSC Shop are open daily from 10am. See Rooftop Restaurant opening times

On performance days, our Box Office counter is normally open daily from 11.30am until 7.30pm.

On Sundays, and other days where there are no performances, the building closes at 4pm.
