THREADS is a programme of events celebrating the history of costume making in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Discover the stories, skills and materials that make up our costume heritage by joining us for a range of activities throughout summer and autumn 2021.

Watch live pop-up performances on the Bancroft Terrace, develop your skills with workshops and demonstrations, and come to Costume Day where we knit it all together for a day-long celebration of the history and craft of costume making in Shakespeare’s home town.
