About the 8 -14 Summer School

A brand new event hosted in Stratford-upon-Avon by the RSC for young people aged 8 -14. In these five days attendees will create and rehearse a version of As You Like It. Young people will rehearse as an ensemble whilst learning acting, speaking and movement techniques from an RSC practitioner. At the end of the week there will be a sharing of the play for parents and guardians to attend.

You can expect a week of fun as the group work together to make their very own version of Shakespeare's play. You will learn about Shakespeare and As You Like It by playing the characters, creating the world of the play and reimagining the text.

Open to any young people with an enthusiasm for theatre, performing or creative writing.
