Join us this summer for activities for all ages, including family workshops and our 8-14 summer school.

Our activities run from July to September 2024 with a range of activities for children and young people aged five to 14 to enjoy.

Open Stage

Come and enjoy free performances and workshops in the Holloway Garden Theatre, on weekends throughout July and August. Open Stage offers a range of lively student, community and semi-professional productions, workshops and stories.

As You Like It

Shakespeare's timeless rural comedy in a fun filled 90 minutes in the Holloway Garden Theatre. Performances at 1pm and 5pm.

Tickets £20, under 25s £10.

New for Young People

8 - 14 Summer School

A brand new event hosted in Stratford-upon-Avon by the RSC for young people aged 8 -14. In these five days attendees will create and rehearse a version of As You Like It. Young people will rehearse as an ensemble whilst learning acting, speaking and movement techniques from an RSC practitioner. At the end of the week there will be a sharing of the play for family and friends to attend. £250, Drop off activity.

The Play's The Thing

Discover 100 years of theatre making magic. Visit our free, interactive exhibition which includes a First Folio from 1623 and costumes worn by Ian Mckellen and Alex Kinston. Find out about the costumes and objects that mean most to the local communities we’ve worked with to choose the exhibits. Open daily from 12 noon – no need to book, just come along.

Explore the building on this one-hour tour and hear all about the workings of the theatre with engaging stories of our unique history. Our experienced team of tour guides will lead you on a journey through the building’s public and behind-the-scenes areas, sharing the magic of the Royal Shakespeare Company.

Theatre Tower

Our theatre tower is open daily, boasting panoramic views of Stratford-upon-Avon. Standing at 32m above street level - or the equivalent of approximately the height of seven double-decker buses stacked on top each other - you can take a trip up to the viewing platform for free.
