Students will look at deeper textual analysis and how meaning is made in performance. They will gain an in-depth knowledge of form, and consider the relationship between text and the context in which Shakespeare was writing. We can tailor the session to specific requirements of the A-Level curriculum.
We can support your students to:
- Engage with challenging subject matter in Shakespeare’s texts
- Debate and evidence their views
- Explore key moments in the play, and how they are informed by choices of structure, language, and form
- Where appropriate, draw comparisons with other relevant texts from Shakespeare and the wider curriculum
- Practice advanced rehearsal room approaches, based on how professional RSC actors prepare for playing characters and rehearsing scenes
