June is in bloom, and we have two new shows taking to our stages - from a sparkling new production of The Constant Wife, to a frenetic collision of Radiohead and Shakespeare in Hamlet Hail to the Thief.

HAMLET HAIL TO THE THIEF

Shakespeare’s great tragedy and Radiohead’s critically acclaimed album collide in a fusion of theatre, music, and movement.

In Thom Yorke and directors Christine Jones and Steve Hoggett's production, Elsinore has become a surveillance state, where paranoia reigns and no one is spared a tragic unravelling. With music an integral part of the narrative, the story centres on Hamlet and Ophelia's awakening to the corruption revealed by ghosts and music.

Join us for the Creative Team Talk on 11 June and our Unwrapped event on 21 June.

Hamlet Hail to the Thief plays at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Stratford-upon-Avon from 4 to 28 June.

THE CONSTANT WIFE

Constance has everything. A loving family, a beautiful home, a fulfilling career, and a husband as devoted to her as he is to his mistress. When her perfect set up is threatened, Constance fights back but refuses to play by the rules.

RSC Co-Artistic Director Tamara Harvey (Pericles) and playwright Laura Wade (PoshRivals) reunite to reimagine Somerset Maugham’s subversive comedy in a sparkling new version featuring original music by multi award-winning jazz artist Jamie Cullum. Rose Leslie (Game of Thrones, Downton Abbey) and Kate Burton (Grey’s Anatomy) star.

Go behind the scenes of the production at the Creative Team Talk on 30 June.

The Constant Wife plays at the Swan Theatre from 20 June to 2 August.
