Young people develop postcards showing why arts and culture in schools matters to them.
Today we are launching a set of six postcards showing quotes from our Time to Listen campaign about the value of arts in young people's lives.
The postcards were produced by our Youth Advisory Board - 30 young people from our Associate Schools around the country. They are giving the cards out to over 500 young Shakespeare Ambassadors, to promote the importance of arts and culture in their schools.
The launch is just one of the events happening this week at our development days for Lead Associate Schools and the regional theatres they work with. They will also be taking part in workshops exploring best practice for teaching, developing and advocating for the arts, including the Shakespeare Gym - using rehearsal room techniques to work with Shakespeare's texts.
