After successful runs in the UK, America, Australia and New Zealand, Matilda The Musical has now reached South Korea for the first foreign language production of the show. Based on the much-loved Roald Dahl novel, the musical has been seen by over 8 million people. 

Our Executive Director, Catherine Mallyon, has been in Korea to see the preview performances and to meet the theatre company involved: "It was the most incredible experience: so familiar and so completely different all at the same time. The production is in really good shape with some lovely performances and incredibly good singing. The children are all brilliant, with some of them younger than we have seen on stage anywhere else... The heart of the story and of the original production is very much in evidence, and is beating strongly."
