Parents in Performing Arts started life as a campaign in 2016. Its research showed that eight out of ten self-employed theatre workers had to turn down work due to caring responsibilities.
PIPA wants change across the performing arts, including job sharing and improved rehearsal scheduling. It’s becoming a limited company to address the scale of change that’s needed, and to ensure that work is ongoing.
